Auction Hall History

Our auction facility was constructed in 1988 with the help of our son and daughters.  The hall is a 3,400 plus sg. ft. building, handicap accessible with country charm and uniqueness.  Our grounds are tastefully landscaped with rock walls, shrubs, flowers and country memorabilia, making us the best landscaped auction facility in the New England States.  There is a large loading dock and ample parking area, also landscaped with country charm!!!  Due to the uniqueness of our building and it's siding we refer to it as the State's "Unofficial 555th Tourist Attraction".

Business History

Carlow's Countryside Auctions of Harmony, Maine was established in 1981 with our first auction being conducted on May 23rd. Since that time we have developed and extensive portfolio of buyers and collectors that we maintain a mailing list for. We conduct antique, special category, and estate auctions annually. We also do off site cattle, livestock, farm equipment, and benefit auctions. We take extreme care and patience in the prudent display of consignments, thus enabling us to better serve both the buyers and consignors desire.
